They’ve been called many things but, one cannot deny their resilience. They walk the street with a confident strut as if they own it. They are NYC’s unofficial mascot. Love them or hate them, they embody the very fighting spirit and attitude of every New Yorker. It’s this attitude that binds us and makes us strong. Through challenge and adversity, we flock together. If these winged city slingers teach us anything, it’s that “if you can make it here, you can make it anywhere.” 

In tribute to this New York grit, a portion of the proceeds of each Gritty Pigeon tee will go to Best Friends Animal Society, an organization dedicated to the rehabilitation and adoption of homeless and rescue animals trying to find their place in this big city.
